New bulk mill to be built on Hamilton’s harbour

P&H Milling Group has announced it is spending $40 million to build a new bulk mill on Pier 10.

The new bulk mill will house state of the art equipment, including additional grain and flour storage. The expansion will enable the company to process 25 per cent more grain, and increase intake of Ontario wheat by over 10 per cent annually.

The company says the new mill will help improve it’s competitiveness.

The province is kicking in $5 million for construction of the mill. The project is expected to create an additional 16 jobs.
