Four brands will no longer be sold in the freezer aisle at Canadian grocery stores, including Delissio, as Nestlé Canada winds down its business model in the country.

Nestlé Canada says that over the next six months, the company will be lessening the number of frozen meal and pizza products it produces.

John Carmichael is Nestlé Canada’s president and CEO and he says this decision will allow the company to further invest in the categories it’s prioritizing.

The four brands Nestlé is no longer going to sell are Delissio, Stouffer’s, Lean Cuisine, and Life Cuisine.

The company says it is focusing on categories such as confectionery, coffee, ice cream, premium water, and pet food because these products support long-term business growth.

The discontinued products are not manufactured in Canada, so no Canadian facilities will be affected.

Nestlé says it’s working with retail partners to remove these products from stores.
