Nationals beat Hounds

Nice day to be outside, and that’s where the Hamilton Nationals were as they hosted the Charlotte Hounds in Major League Lacrosse at Ron Joyce Stadium….

In 3rd quarter action, Hamilton’s Joe Walters wheels around the net and scores his third goal of the game. The Nationals led 12–10 after 3. In the 4th, Stephen Keogh would whistle a shot past Adam Ghitelman in the Charlotte net. Keogh had a 4 goal game. This game went to overtime, and from the faceoff, Matt Dolente breaks up the middle, heading to the net and he fires the game winner, just 7 seconds into the extra period.

The Nationals win 16-15. They’re tied for first in the MLL with a 3–0 record. Their next game is next Thursday on the road in Ohio.
