Natalie Wood death being re-examined

Thirty years after actress Natalie Wood’s death, Los Angeles police have re-opened their investigation.

The actress drowned off the coast of Southern California in November 1981. She’d been partying on her yacht with husband Robert Wagner and actor Christopher Walken.

Wood’s body was found in a cove near the yacht’s dinghy.

At the time, her death was ruled an accident; but a yacht captain is suggesting Wagner was responsible for the actress’ death.

The skipper went on NBC’s Today show this morning to say he lied to investigators about her drowning. He says he made mistakes by not telling the truth about events leading to her death and urged investigators to re-open the case.
