Myers Industries Lawn & Garden Group in Brantford to close

About 250 jobs will be lost as Myers Industries Lawn & Garden Group closes its plant in Brantford.

The company’s Burlington plant is not affected. The company makes horticultural containers for growers, retail garden centers and mass merchandisers in the greenhouse, nursery and consumer markets.

The Brantford plant closure is part of a larger restructuring due to current business conditions.
