A Hamilton man serving a life sentence for murder escaped from a minimum security prison in Kingston.

Cale David Presnail, 40, was last seen around 5 pm Monday at the Collins Bay institution. Presnail pleaded guilty to beating a Wisconsin bus driver to death in a Hamilton hotel room. He was sentenced to life in prison in 1998.

Presnail is described as white, 6 feet tall and 178 pounds. He has hazel eyes, a shaved head with a blond goatee. Presnail has a dragon tattoo on his right calf, a dolphin tattoo on his upper right arm and two swords tattoo on his upper left arm.

The OPP says anyone with information about Presnail’s whereabouts should not approach him; instead, call 911 immediately.
