Mumford & Sons cancels shows

Mumford and Sons have had to postpone their next three shows because of a health scare.

The band’s bassist, Ted Dwane, had emergency surgery Monday for a blood clot on his brain. As a result, Mumford and Sons has put plans on hold for a show Tuesday night in Dallas, another in Woodlands, Texas on Wednesday, and a show in New Orleans Thursday. At this point, they haven’t announced plans to cancel or postpone any other concerts, including a big festival they’re headlining in August in Simcoe.
