A two-day festival with British band Mumford and Sons is expected to pump about $10 million into the economy in Norfolk County this weekend.

Simcoe is the band’s only Canadian location on a five-stop “Gentlemen of the Road Tour.” They picked eleven bands to join them for the festival. In addition to the Norfolk County Fairgrounds, three stages of free musical acts will be featured in downtown Simcoe, where two city blocks will be closed to traffic on Friday and Saturday.

Bed and Breakfasts, hotel rooms, and campgrounds in and around Simcoe are filled.

If you miss them in Simcoe, Mumford and Sons play the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto on Monday.
