Hamilton police are investigating after a number of vehicles were broken into in the city’s east end.

Shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday, police say two males snuck into an apartment building near King St. East and Nash Rd. through a side door.

They went into the underground parking lot and broke into 11 parked vehicles. The pair stole cash, tools, electronic devices, and vehicle documents.

Police say the thieves broke windows to get inside most of the cars.

The suspects are described as white, less than six-feet tall, with average builds.

Police also learned similar incidents happened over the past two weeks but were not reported.

Anyone with information that could help police with the investigation is asked to contact Det. Christian Mukendi at 905-546-2918.
