MRSA outbreak in St. Kitts

An outbreak of MRSA has been declared at the St. Catharines General Hospital.

It’s in the ICU progressive care unit. The Niagara Health System says there has been five cases in the unit since January 31st.

All five cases are still active. The hospital has put prevention and control measures in place to control the spread of the infection and stop the outbreak.
