Mounties crack down on counterfeit items

The RCMP have discovered a mass counterfeit ring operating in Toronto.

More than 16,000 items including designer purses, wallets and sunglasses have been seized from the Easy Street Trading Company on Spadina Avenue.

Police say they also found equipment used to manufacture the goods as well. The retail value of these items would be about $4.5 million if they were sold in stores.
