Motorcyclist charged in T-bone accident with vehicle in Burlington

Two people were thrown from their motorcycle when they struck a car late Saturday night in Burlington.

The crash happened around 10:30 on Brant Street just north of Upper Middle Road in Burlington.

The motorcycle was travelling northbound when it T-boned a car that was driving southbound attempting to make a left turn. Both riders were thrown from their motorbike.

The riders were taken to hospital and later released and the driver of the car was not hurt.

Halton Police closed the road to traffic while the collision reconstruction unit conducted its investigation.

Police said the driver of the motorcycle was charged.
