Motorcyclist, 32, killed in two-vehicle crash in St. Catharines

A 32-year-old man is dead following a two-vehicle crash in St. Catharines.

It happened in the area of Scott St. West and Hiscott St. shortly before 5 p.m. on Friday.

Police say a man was reversing out of a driveway on Scott St. West in a Ford pickup truck.

A 32-year-old motorcyclist who was riding down the street lost control and slid under the pickup truck.

The motorcycle rider was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

The collision is being investigated by the Collision Reconstruction Unit.

The Coroner’s office is also involved in the investigation.
