The Niagara Street overpass by the QEW is closed after a motorcycle crash early Monday morning.

Police say at around 1:30 a.m. a 40-year old man crashed his motorcycle.

The man was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The cause is under investigation. Hamilton police say the overpass will remain closed until approximately 11 a.m.
