Mother now charged in toddler assault
A mother has been charged with aggravated assault after a Hamilton toddler was taken to hospital with serious injuries a week ago.
Neighbours say they saw a little girl wheeled out of a Cannon Street home on a stretcher.
The 20 month old girl is still in hospital.
On Monday, police charged 31 year old Donald Quick of Hamilton with aggravated assault.
Now they’ve charged the girl’s 26 year old mother with aggravated assault and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
They aren’t releasing her name to protect the child.
