Mosca gets into Grey Cup dust-up

A 48 year old grudge between two CFL legends erupted on stage during a luncheon just days before the Grey Cup – and it’s gone viral.

On stage at the event were former B.C. Lions quarterback Joe Kapp, 73, and former Ticat Angelo Mosca, 74.

The bad blood between the two stems from Hamilton’s 21-10 win over B.C. in the 1963 Grey Cup. In that game, Mosca delivered a controversial hit on Lions running back Willie Fleming, knocking Fleming out of the game.

Mosca told CHCH News he’s surprised by the online buzz, and that he’s over the matter.

The video has more than 200,000 hits on YouTube and is even posted on the New York Times website.
