More details coming soon in Stoney Creek murder investigation

Hamilton Police are expected to update the media this morning on their investigation into a homicide in Stoney Creek. Police did confirm Sunday night that the body of a man was discovered in a building in an industrial area.  A woman with serious injuries was transported by paramedics to a trauma centre. The investigation is centred on Arvin Avenue between Hilton Drive and Millen Road. A police command centre has been set up as the investigation continues.  Timing of the police update has not yet been set.  It is Hamilton’s third homicide of 2021.
