More charges likely in case of Torontonian killed in Grenada
Two police officers in Grenada have been charged with manslaughter in the beating death of a Toronto man, and police say more charges are expected.
Oscar Bartholomew, 39, died after being taken into police custody on Monday.
Relatives have accused officers for beating Bartholomew after hugging a female officer he mistook for a friend.
Police say three other officers have been detained in the case, but have not been charged.
Bartholomew had been visiting his hometown on the island when the incident occurred.
