For the first time in 13 years, the Montreal Alouettes are Grey Cup champions.

In a true Cinderella story, the Als won their final eight games of the season, defeating the Eastern Division Champion Toronto Argos to get to the Grey Cup, and then they beat the Western Division champs – the Blue Bombers – to secure the title.
Alouettes’ quarterback Cody Fajardo was named most outstanding player – completing a personal comeback after being benched and then let go by the Saskatchewan Roughriders last season.
