After a six-month national search, Mohawk College has unanimously appointed Ron McKerlie as its new president.

McKerlie is a Harvard and University of Toronto graduate. He is currently Ontario’s deputy minister of open government and chair of World Vision Canada.

“I bring 35 years experience both in the public and private sector a passion for life-long learning, a passion to work with students and work with faculty and staff to create a great experience at the college. ”

McKerlie replaces Rob MacIsaac, who left Mohawk in January to become the new president and CEO of Hamilton Health Sciences.
