At least one person is dead after a crash on Mississauga Road Wednesday afternoon.

Another person is said to have serious injuries. It happened around 4:30pm at the intersection of Shawanaga Trail and Mississaga Road, near the QEW. Early reports suggest one vehicle hit another and then hit a tree. An air ambulance was called in to take one person to a trauma centre. The investigation is ongoing.
