Mississauga marathon

The Mississauga Marathon is also taking place this weekend.

The event will have a moment of silence in memory of the Boston marathon victims. The Mississauga marathon has several events happening throughout the weekend. But the main race takes place this Sunday beginning at 7:30am and road closures in the area will remain in effect until 6pm. The run starts on City Centre Drive, then travels along Burnhamthorpe Road, then to Mississauga Road, and eventually making its way down to Lakeshore West, finishing at Lakefront Promenade Park.
