Hamilton police search for missing 32-year-old man

Update: Hamilton police are hoping to identify a woman they believe may have information about missing person Thomas Heaney. They say she was seen on security video in the area of Cannon and Wellington just before 3:30 Saturday morning. Police are appealing to this person or anyone knowing her to contact the Hamilton Police at 905-546-3886

Hamilton police are asking the public’s help in locating a missing 32-year-old man.

Thomas Heaney, of Hamilton, was last seen around 4 p.m. on the east Hamilton Mountain on Feb. 18.

He is described as white, between five-foot-eight and five-foot-ten, roughly 120 to 125 lbs, with a thin build. Heaney has a manicured beard which may have grown out since he was last seen. He was wearing a black bomber jacket, a black toque, jeans and black boots with some white details.

Police say they are concerned for his well-being. Anyone who may know his whereabouts is asked to contact 9-1-1.
