Niagara police say a missing elderly couple who were unaccounted for have been found, safe.

Officers say the pair were located Tuesday evening, thanking the public for their efforts.

The two hadn’t been seen since Monday and an alert went out seeking their whereabouts Tuesday afternoon.

At the time, authorities and their family shared a concern for their wellbeing.
