Miracle on the Hudson

It is one of the most dramatic safe, albeit wet plane emergency landings in history.  On January 15th, 2009 U.S. Airways flight 1549 hit a flock of birds and Captain Chesley Sullenberger ditched the plane in New York City’s Hudson River.  Amazingly there were no fatalities and one survivor, Dave Sanderson, has put the experience in a riveting book and told us about it this morning
