Milton man arrested in OPP child sexual exploitation investigation

The Ontario Provincial Police have arrested and charged a Milton man in connection with an investigation into online child sexual exploitation.

The OPP executed a search warrant on Tuesday in the town of Milton, seizing a quantity of electronic devices.

As a result of the investigation, one person was arrested.

Forty-one-year-old John Frederick Anderson of Milton faces two counts of luring a child and one count of making sexually explicit material available to a child.

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court for a bail hearing on Thursday.

The OPP are reminding parents to take a protective approach to issues of online child sexual exploitation and speak with their children about internet safety.
