Milton GO train service resumes

GO train service is back up and running on the Milton line this morning after a collision with a tractor trailer.

GO Transit says one of their trains hit a stalled tractor trailer around 7:30 last night at a crossing near Dixie station. 800 passengers had to get off the train, and after a two hour delay were taken to their final destination by GO bus.

The truck driver wasn’t in the truck when it was hit, but several people on the train were treated for minor injuries.
