Milton driver charged for using device to hide licence plate

A driver in Milton has been charged after police discovered a device on their vehicle to conceal the licence plate.
Halton police say an officer spotted a black Porsche Panamera 4S that appeared to be driving without a licence plate this weekend.
The Milton District Response Unit stopped what they thought was a un-plated vehicle tonight. Investigation revealed that the driver had a licence plate concealing device. The driver was charged. They say the officer later realized the driver was using a licence plate concealing device.
Police say the device allows the driver to conceal their plate by pressing a button from the driver’s seat.
