Milton councillor arrested

Halton police have arrested a Milton town councillor. Police were called to Milton Town Hall Monday afternoon to investigate a historical trespassing incident.

They say they found Councillor Tony Lambert in violation of his bail condition on a charge unrelated to the original trespassing call. He was arrested and held for a bail hearing. Lambert was convicted of impaired driving back in 2011. He was also charged with assault in another incident that year.
