Milton break and enter thwarted

Halton police are praising an observant Milton resident after he was able to help thwart a robbery.

Police say the man called 911 around 11 Monday morning about a suspicious vehicle on Coulter Way. Officers went to the area, while also receiving an alarm call from a nearby home. Police say they located the vehicle and the suspects and found a significant amount of stolen property in their possession. The three young men come from Waterloo and Mississauga, and range in age from 18 to 21-years old.
