Million $ Beamsville pot bust
More than a million dollars worth of marijuana was found by Niagara police during a traffic stop early Monday morning.
Police say they pulled over a rental truck just after 2am in Beamsville. That’s when the officer smelled the drugs. The driver was found to be in possession of 231 pounds of freshly-cut marijuana plants. 36-year old Guo Ding Lin is being charged with possession of a schedule ‘2’ substance for the purpose of trafficking. He’s being held in St.Catharines for a bail hearing.
