Microsoft has hired two leading executives from the company that created ChatGPT after one of them was abruptly fired.

A drama-filled weekend that saw the company’s board of directors fire CEO Sam Altman before reconsidering the move, has ended with him accepting a job offer at Microsoft.

OpenAI co-founder and former president, Greg Brockman, quit in protest after the firing.

The two will now lead Microsoft’s new advanced AI research team.
