Metrolinx announces special ‘GO’ services for Taylor Swift concert dates

Metrolinx has announced special rail and bus services for the Taylor Swift Eras Tour concerts on Nov. 14-16 and Nov. 21-23.

The transit agency is adding a number of additional rail trips to Union Station to help Swifties get to the shows on time.

This includes the following rail lines:

Lakeshore West:

  • On November 14, 15, 21 and 22 (for weekday concerts), there will be three additional trips to Union Station from Oakville GO that will only stop at Clarkson GO and Port Credit GO before running expressing to Union Station.
    • These additional trips will depart at Oakville GO at 5:05 p.m., 5:35 p.m., and 6:05 p.m.
  • On November 14-16 and 21-23, there will be an extra trip following the concert departing from Union Station and making all stops to Burlington GO.
    • An extra weekday trip will depart Union Station at 12:02 a.m., making all stops to Burlington GO, in addition to our regular service.
    • An extra weekend trip will depart Union Station at 11:59 p.m., making all stops to Burlington GO.

Lakeshore East:

  • On November 14, 15, 21, 22 (for weekday concerts), there will be two additional trips to Union Station from Oshawa GO.
    • These additional trips will depart Oshawa GO at 5:25 p.m. and 5:55 p.m., making all stops to Union Station.
  • On November 14-16 and 21-23 (weekday and weekend), there will be one extra tripfollowing the concert departing at 12:05 a.m., from Union Station making all stops to Oshawa GO.

Milton Line:

  • On November 14-16 and 21-23, there will be an extra trip departing Union Station at 11:59 p.m., making all stops to Milton GO.

Kitchener Line:

  • On November 14, 15, 21, 22 (for weekday concerts), the last outbound train of the night from Union Station will hold for concert goers to return home safely. The 11:34 p.m. weekday outbound trip will depart at 12:04 p.m.
  • On November 16 and 23 (for weekend concerts), the last outbound train of the night from Union Station will hold for concert goers to return home safely. The 11:51 p.m. weekend trip will depart at 12:06 a.m.

Barrie Line

  • On November 14, 15, 21, 22 (for weekday concerts), a trip will be suspended to run a late-night train for concert goers to return home safely.
    • The 10:01 p.m. weekday northbound trip from Union Station will not run.
    • An extra trip will run at 11:54 p.m. northbound from Union Station, making all station stops.
  • On November 16 and 23 (for weekend concerts), the last outbound train of the night from Union Station will depart 1 hour later for concert goers to return home safely. The 10:54 p.m. northbound trip will depart at 11:54 p.m.

Stoufville Line

  • On November 16 and 23 (for weekend concerts), the last outbound train of the night from Union Station will depart 30 minutes later for concert goers to return home safely. The 11:11 p.m. northbound trip from Union Station will depart at 11:41 p.m.

Customers are encouraged to use gotransit.com to plan their trips and check schedules in advance.

GO BUS SERVICES

Metrolinx will also offer special GO Bus services to better accommodate the anticipated influx of traffic to and from downtown Toronto during the Eras Tour.

The agency says that they expect large numbers for the concerts and “encourage everyone to play their part in contributing to our collective safety.”
