Memorial held for Pop Up Hamilton co-founder Dave Hanley

Hamilton’s top chefs, mixologists and jazz musicians came together Sunday to remember a friend they say “passed away far too soon.”

A memorial and fundraiser was held to celebrate the life of pop up king, Dave Hanley, who died in late September. Hanley and his wife, Nicole Longstaff, were the founders of Pop Up Hamilton, a company that offered popular “unique tasting adventures” with chefs in unlikely locations throughout Hamilton. He was a big part of the community and friends and family have been reeling from the loss ever since. Fellow chef Dan Megna says the Hamilton community is growing and getting stronger day by day and it wouldn’t have been the case without Dave Hanley.
