An apartment fire in Hamilton sent one person to hospital, suffering from smoke inhalation.

Hamilton fire got the call just after 3. The fire started in a 14th floor apartment in this 17 floor building. The tenant wasn’t home at the time the fire started, but rushed in after discovering the inferno. Unfortunately two family dogs were lost in the blaze. Smoke is being cleared from all floors. Damage is estimated at $250,000. The Ontario Fire Marshal has been called in to determine the cause.
