Medical grow op arrests

Niagara police say they’ve made four arrests at a medical marijuana grow op in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
This isn’t the first time arrests have been made in connection with the address. Police say they executed a search warrant in September and 11 people were arrested then, but none of them were the actual licence holders. So, police continued to investigate and learned that one of the licence holders was unaware their licence was being used at the location, and they had never benefited from any use of marijuana grown there. That led police to believe the people growing the marijuana were doing so unlawfully.
Four people between the ages of 40 and 64 years old were arrested and 390 marijuana plants, with an estimated street value of $390 000, have been seized.
