Medical emergency results in single-vehicle crash in Hamilton

Two people were injured after a single-vehicle collision in Hamilton.
Police say a 53-year-old man was driving eastbound on Main St. near Grant Ave. when his car left the road shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
It then hit a fire hydrant and light pole.
One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries and a second person was treated at the scene.
Police say the driver suffered a medical emergency at the time of the crash. Investigations continue as they try to determine if speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
