Medical emergency leads to chain reaction crash

(Updated) There was a serious four-car crash this morning in Niagara Falls at the intersection of Morrison and Dorchester.

An 80 year old man driving southbound on Dorchester Rd hit the end of another vehicle stopped at the light. That car spun into the intersection and one occupant needed to be cut out. The older man hit another vehicle which then ran into a fourth.

Three cars were totaled; the fourth had minor damage.

The 80 year old man and the person freed from the second car have been taken to hospital. Investigators believe the man had a medical condition.
