(Update)

A judge has ruled search warrants can be unsealed next month for homes tied to an alleged video showing Rob Ford smoking crack cocaine.

Several media outlets asked an Ontario court judge to let them see the warrants as a matter of great public interest. The lawyers were hired by the Globe and Mail, CBC News and Sun Media among others. The judge did say the crown could black out parts it deems too sensitive for release pending the full hearing, which he hoped would occur by mid-September.
