McMaster University’s investigation into a “McMaster KKK meeting” scheduled for a library study room has found the organizer but hasn’t announced any names.

McMaster said on their website that immediate action was taken on Thursday when it learned about the booking. Officials said it was either “a false booking or a very inappropriate prank.” The school was able to identify the person who made the reservation and cancelled the meeting.

This incident follows an investigation into “white nationalist” posters promoting extreme right wing websites that were posted around the McMaster University campus last month. Fliers were found denouncing anti-white propaganda at McMaster and in Hamilton’s west-end.
