McMaster University has its seventh case of COVID-19 on campus

McMaster University has had its seventh case of COVID-19 on campus.

The university says the latest case was confirmed in a student, who was last on campus on Oct. 15.

The school was notified of the positive test result on Monday.

The student was in several areas of the Michael G. DeGroote Centre for Learning and Discovery.

The school says all areas of the building and any applicable lab equipment have since been thoroughly cleaned.

This is the fourth case of COVID-19 at the university this month.
