McMaster University confirms 8th case of COVID-19

McMaster University says it has its eighth case of COVID-19 on campus.

The school says an employee tested positive on Wednesday. They were last on campus on Oct. 26 and Oct. 22 in several areas of the Nuclear Research building.

The school says that building has been thoroughly cleaned, as is their protocol.

Contact tracing is being handled by Hamilton Public Health.

Five of the eight cases of COVID-19 at the school have come this month.
