May the 4th is McHappy Day, and Canadians from coast to coast are stopping by McDonald’s to fill their bellies and help support local children’s charities.

Morning Live’s Annette Hamm was working the drive-thru window. She’s one of many CHCH personalities who donated their time to the cause. today. One dollar from every Big Mac, Happy Meal and hot McCafe beverage will be donated to Hamilton’s Ronald McDonald House and other local children’s charities.

Last year, more than $8 million dollars was raised across the country.
