McDonald’s crash

An SUV crashed into the McDonald’s on Appleby Line in Burlington Monday morning.

Police say an elderly man accidentally put his vehicle into drive, causing it to lurch forward into the front window of the restaurant.

The driver was checked out by paramedics, but did not need to go to the hospital.

No one else was injured and police are continuing their investigation.
