Matthew de Grood found not criminally responsible of Calgary murders

A judge delivered the verdict today in the first degree murder trial of Matthew de Grood.
De Grood has been found not criminally responsible for killing 5 people at a Calgary house party on April 15th, 2014.
The 24 year old son of a police officer admits he killed 5 people at the party. However, both the defence and the Crown agree he was suffering from a
mental disorder at the time.
