Masoli ready for his opportunity

As the Ticats returned to practise this week, the team made it clear on Sunday that it was going to be without Zach Collaros as its starting quarterback as the 25-year old is still out with a head and back injury after taking the hit from Odell Willis back on July 4th.

On Sunday, head coach Kent Austin said both Jeremiah Masoli and Dan Lefevour would get some touches Friday night against Calgary, but would not name his starter.

On Monday, he did. Jeremiah Masoli will start for the Ticats.
