Markham pharmacist charged
A Markham pharmacist has been charged with fraud and breach of trust, after submitting bills for products that weren’t used.
59-year old Nashaat Ramzy allegedly submitted more than $5,000 of bills to the Ontario Drug Benefit Plan for drug products that weren’t dispensed, while working in a Toronto pharmacy between 2009 and 2011. He’ll appear in court next month.
