Markets rally from huge sell off

While markets dropped again today in China and Japan, elsewhere investors are seeing rallies.
Today the Shanghai Composite closed down 245 points, or more than 7.6 percent, while Tokyo’s Nikkei fell 734, or nearly 4 percent.
But on the positive side the Hang Seng in Hong Kong actually ended the day higher, closing up 153 points.
In afternoon trading in Europe the numbers are on the plus side across the board, with triple digit gains in London, Frankfurt and Paris.
North American markets also look to regain more ground today, with futures rising in New York.
Even yesterday afternoon, markets in Toronto & New York were off their lows. Still, the S&P/TSX Composite saw a 421 point drop while the Dow lost 588.
