Pre-trial motions have begun in the case of the murder of a two-year old Fort Erie girl.

Little Marissa Whalen was killed in the summer of 2011. Marissa’s mother and her mother’s girlfriend were eventually charged with her murder. As Lauran Sabourin reports, they both made court appearances in Welland on Monday morning.
