Brian Burke has been fired as President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Burke was introduced as the President and General Manager of the Leafs, replacing interim general manager Cliff Fletcher, on November 29th, 2008.
He has over a year left on a six year contract. A press conference is expected at the Air Canada Centre at 1:45.
